Job Description
The - Saskatoon and the , Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology seek two Obstetrician Gynecologist specialists with fellowship training in urogynecology or complex gynecologic surgery to join their team. Responsibilities will include inpatient, outpatient and community clinical and academic service. The successful candidate will work in a multidisciplinary care environment.
The successful candidate will have appointments in both the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) and the University of Saskatchewan (USask). There are 5,700 deliveries per year and an active gynecologic surgical department including a Women's Health Centre for outpatient procedures. A well-developed Pelvic Floor Pathway supports pelvic floor care with physiotherapy, counselling and pessary fitting in a nurse practitioner led model.
Compensation details: Fee-for-Service and an in house Obstetrics stipend; entering into an independent contract payment modality may be available in the future.

Gynecology is based at Saskatoon City hospital: Operating rooms that serve the bulk of non-cancer gynecologic care – 2-3 rooms/day The Pelvic Floor pathway Women’s Health Centre – outpatient minor procedures under RN led sedation Early Pregnancy Program – complications of early pregnancy, pregnancy termination clinic Ambulatory Care unit with a cystoscopy suite and urodynamic testing Colposcopy - at the WHC if this is a desired area of practice
Job Qualifications
Candidates must hold certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology with the and be eligible for licensure with the . Fellowship training in urogynecology and/or complex gynecologic surgery is required.
