Job Summary
The Filling Operator is accountable to the Production Supervisor for all filling activities relating to the manufacture of dental anesthetics to meet the company’s objectives and in accordance with the requirements outlined in Standard Operating Procedures and Good Manufacturers Practices.
We have job openings for the following shift:
Nights - Sunday to Thursday, 10 pm to 6 am Weekend Days - Friday & Monday (6 am to 2 pm), Saturday & Sunday (6 am to 6 pm) Weekend Nights - Friday & Monday (10 pm to 6 am), Saturday & Sunday (6 pm to 6 am)Please mention your shift preference in your resume.
Responsibilities
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs and follows proper gowning procedures and maintains gowning certification. Produces safe, effective and quality products by following approved procedures. Conducts filling line operations that may include:o Preparation of glass and components.
o Assembling and disassembling of the filling machine.
o Cleaning and sanitizing of machine parts, accessories and other equipment to prepare for autoclave.
o Housekeeping of Filling room and area.
o Load and unload steam autoclave and glass from dry-heat oven.
o Count the components in filling room as required.
o Assist with setup and start up, loading and transfer of components.
o Ensure machine operates efficiently and that the finished product meets quality standards. Inspects for physical defects and other quality infractions and reject defective product according to appropriate SOP’s. Removes finished product from the discharge area. Performs IPQC and visual check. Completes Batch Record and logbooks and report any filling problems to supervisor. Informs Lead Hand of any equipment or process-related issues encountered during filling. Follows GMP and regulatory requirements, and ensures quality standards are met. Observes and supports all safety guidelines and regulations. Demonstrate the Company Mission, Vision and Values Statements, policies, and current standard business practices. When assigned, inspects, labels and packages filled cartridges according to the appropriate SOP Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications
Education:
High school diplomaExperience
A minimum of one year of related work experience in a manufacturing environment, however 2 years or more of work experience is considered an asset. Pharmaceutical, food, or cosmetic industry experience is considered an asset. Demonstrated mechanical experience or mechanical aptitude. Strong communication, analytical and problem solving skills Ability to adapt in changing environments Strong perseverance, resiliency, accountability Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures and instruction Computer literacy, able to operate HMI screens Ability to work any shift in a 24/7 work environment.What we offer
