Software Development Project Manager  Position Summary: As a Software Development Project Manager at Nortek Air Solutions, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, product managers, and stakeholders, to ensure successful project outcomes. Additionally, you will be part of a company that values continuous learning and professional growth. Position Responsibilities:  Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects, ensuring adherence to project scope, timeline, and budget.  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, objectives, and deliverables.  Develop and maintain project plans, including tasks, milestones, and resource allocation.  Coordinate and communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.  Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effective resource allocation.  Facilitate effective collaboration and communication among team members, ensuring alignment and clarity on project goals and priorities.  Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing issues and implementing contingency plans.  Ensure the adherence to software development best practices, quality standards, and compliance requirements.  Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance project management processes, tools, and methodologies.  Position Requirements:  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.  Proven experience as a Project Manager in software development projects.  Strong project management skills, including planning, organizing, and coordinating project activities.  Understanding of software development methodologies, processes, and best practices.  Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.  Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.  Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.  Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.  Proficiency in project management tools and software.  PreferredRequirements:  Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2,AgilePM, .  Experience in the HVAC industry or related fields.  Knowledge of software development technologies and frameworks.  Understanding of cloud-based software development and deployment.  Familiarity with quality assurance and testing processes.
