Job Summary

and Main Responsabilities Be able to understand and effectively use all production documents (plans, work orders, etc.). Prepare the necessary materials and matrices. Configure, program and operate CNC machines according to the requirements of the parts to be produced. Carry out the parts by checking the measurements, the angles and the alignment. Provide a first compliant part for approval. Deburr parts when necessary. Apply the quality controls put in place (control plans or other work instructions). Complete the various reports (non-compliance, request for changes, maintenance, shutdown, etc.). Carry out all of your tasks safely and according to existing procedures. Maintain the cleanliness of your work space. Perform other related duties.

The mandate requires respecting ISO procedures and processes.
The employee may temporarily perform tasks of an equal or lower classification when the tasks related to his position are exhausted.

Know-How Required

Be able to communicate and work in a team. Be able to comply with high quality requirements. Have a concern for precision, order and cleanliness. Have a good sense of observation for small finishing details. Have the desire to learn and develop.

Skills We Are Looking For

Professional Studies diploma in machining technique or sheet metal work or equivalent experience. Be able to analyze and solve problems. Be autonomous and able to take initiatives. Must frequently move, bend, and stand for long periods of time. Knowledge of imperial, metric measurements and conversions. Knowledge of precision measuring instruments (caliper, vernier, micrometer, angle ratio, etc.) Knowledge of plan reading. Knowledge of mechanics – asset.

What We Offer

Evening shift: Monday to Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Summer schedule from June to September to work 4 ½ days. Salary $27.22/hour + evening bonus of $1.50/hour.
