Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director of Estimating and Cost Control, the Senior Construction Estimator will be responsible for:
- Creating and delivering accurate Construction Cost Estimates
- Reviewing and analyzing Quantity Takeoffs as needed
- Generating Elemental Construction Cost Estimates
- Managing a detailed High Rise Costing database
- Maintaining an Elemental Cost Database
- Developing innovative cost management and tracking techniques to identify project budget risks
Required Skills and Experience:
- 8-10+ years of experience in Residential High-rise Construction Estimating
- Minimum 3 years in a Senior Estimator role
- PQS designation or CIQS Affiliation Membership preferred
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management
- Experience in preparing Construction Cost Estimates for projects exceeding $150MM+
- Proficiency in Site Development, Structural, Building Envelope, and M&E Systems for residential high-rise construction
- Knowledge of relevant construction laws and building codes
- Established relationships with leading Quantity Surveyors/Cost Consultants in the industry
