Our position

Reporting into the Head of Analytics and Data Excellence, you will champion data capabilities across the Canadian organization, leading: data governance practices, data management and Business Intelligence to source, maintain and deliver critical business data & insights.

Responsibilities:

Lead, Manage & develop a hard-working team that defines, builds and enables data capabilities across the Canadian business. Business Lead to define, develop and implement the enterprise data strategy for the Canadian organization. Lead Enterprise data governance approach, process and execution across the Canadian organization across Commercial, Medical, and Patient domains. Guide business units on data governance concepts and lead the execution of data governance processes to proactively identify and manage data changes across the organization. Business Lead to define and develop the Enterprise reporting strategy and roadmap to optimize the value of data investments and reporting (IQVIA, ACT Portal) Lead Master Data Management capabilities and processes for core enterprise data (customer, product, alignment, targets) Partner with the Information Technology (IT) team to ensure the quality, consistency, and accessibility of all business data. Lead business demand prioritization and delivery oversight of data and reporting changes for the Data Warehouse and BI platforms in partnership with IT & delivery partners. Manage the IQVIA relationship, including monthly performance assessment, issue management and Third Party Agreement process. Partner and influence Global data governance processes, master data strategy and reporting platforms & solutions roadmap.

Qualifications

7-10 years, experience (pharmaceutical experience preferred)

2+ years, people management experience

5+ Years working with Canadian IQVIA datasets

Demonstrated experience defining business centric data strategy

Demonstrated experience with enterprise Business Intelligence platforms (MicroStrategy, PowerBI etc)

Strong strategic thinking/planning skills

Strong Technical understanding of data models, structured and unstructured data

Strong communication and presentation skills

Successful history of collaboration and partnership

Bachelor's degree required, MBA an asset
