What’s a typical day as an Electronics Assembler? You’ll be: • Responsible for assembling a variety of electronic and/or mechanical equipment to ensure products are on time for shipment • Reading and interpreting instructions, assembling parts and tools, and fitting electronic components together • Performing mechanical assembly of electrical assemblies and subassemblies, including assembling cabinets, modules, chassis, and cable harnesses using engineering drawings and processes • Building wire harnesses and cables, crimping, routing, and tying cables & cable harnesses • Assembling electrical devices and/or wiring electrical control panels and subassemblies using engineering schematics and working instructions • Pulling material from the warehouse and ensuring material availability for work orders in a timely manner • Maintaining and controlling accurate inventory levels in WIP by correctly conducting material transactions in a timely manner • Providing the material kit and accompanying paperwork for the production line and communicating any risks to management as needed • Reading assembly instructions and building to process requirements • Preparing products for shipment, including packaging orders, performing out of box audits, and physically moving materials from the production cell to the warehouse • Transferring inventory between stocking locations in the Oracle ERP system • Tagging, segregating, and moving defective material to a nonconformance material location • Issuing Quality Escape Reports (QER) to the appropriate personnel as required • Participating in lean events such as 5S and basic workstation redesign • Maintaining 5S standards in the work cell • Ensuring anti-static protection is always worn to prevent damage to static-sensitive parts • Working in a safe manner and ensuring appropriate training is taken to do tasks safely • Reporting any incidents or injuries while on the job • Carrying out responsibilities in accordance with Quality Assurance and Workmanship standards • Abiding by all corporate and local policies and procedures, including but not limited to Integrity - The Spirit and The Letter, Quality Management System, and Environmental Health and Safety policies • Assisting with cross-functional teams to plan and resolve production problems

This job might be an outstanding fit if you: • Have flexibility and adaptability to work anywhere on the shop floor • Have experience in wiring, soldering, cabling, and/or mechanical fabrication • Have the ability to read assembly drawings and schematics • Have a good understanding of verbal and written communication • Have good interpersonal skills, as occasional interdepartmental communications may be required • Are able to work up to 6 hours standing and will be required to regularly bend and stretch • Have basic computer skills • Are able to lift up to 35lbs as part of daily duties

Desired Qualification: • Proficiency in Oracle/SAP and material transactions
