Responsibilities:
Be the main point of contact for the public. Responsible for loading and unloading vehicles and passenger traffic. Assist with steering, control, and maintenance of the ferry. Assist with ferry tidiness and maintenance duties. Patrol ferry for unusual situations, potential and safety hazards. Ensure passenger compliance with regulations. Perform docking procedures. Conduct vehicle counts and safety equipment check. Actively participate in the compliance of the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Assurance SystemDesired skills and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent Prior experience as a Deckhand or in a similar role is preferred. Must have a Class 5 driver’s license at minimum Ability to work after-hours if required Good communication skills
