As a Labour and Rail Load Out employee, your responsibilities will include:
- Utilize a hopper to precisely and efficiently load rail cars with pellets
- Strategically position of rail cars, optimizing loading and shipping operations
- Champion a safe and efficient work environment through meticulous site maintenance and general cleanup activities
- Utilize a bobcat to move various items around site, as needed
- Comprehensive site-specific training tailored to empower you for each task, ensuring mastery and confidence in your role
For this role, you’ll bring with you:
- A strong work ethic and a safety driven mindset
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot
- Ability to perform repetitive, manual tasks for extended periods of time including, standing for long hours, walking, shoveling, climbing stairs, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with coworkers
- High degree of urgency and attention to detail
- Knowledge and/or experience of pellet manufacturing machinery, equipment and processes would be an asset
The hourly rate for this position is: $24.68
