Overview

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer who can define, articulate, visualize, and deliver amazing design solutions. You will be responsible for deep customer understanding through users’ needs, emotions, and behaviors to gather insights that inform our experience design strategy. You will need to be able to communicate your ideas using a wide variety of methods—from providing sketches,to creating fully rendered, pixel perfect high-fidelity designs. You will work closely with Research, Product Management, and Engineering as well as other Design teams and partners to meticulously execute ideas into production.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, or related field AND 5+ years experience working in product or service design OR Master's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, or related field AND 4+ years experience working in product or service design OR equivalent experience (e.g., experience using design thinking to solve problems).

Preferred/Additional Qualifications:

A portfolio demonstrating thorough and polished end-to-end customer journeys.  A willingness to collaborate with other designers on strategic solutions and a willingness to share your work openly for feedback and improvement. Adaptability to the changing needs of a rapidly evolving business and flexibility to quickly change direction, iterate, and learn. A customer-centric mindset, with experience turning abstract concepts into reality. A solid understanding of Figma for design and prototyping. An understanding of accessibility and inclusive design. Ability to represent your work to cross-disciplinary team members, stakeholders, and leadership with excellent presentation skills and storytelling.

Product Design IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across Canada is CAD $104,000 - CAD $193,200 per year.

Responsibilities
