From the revitalization of downtown Winnipeg to building education and healthcare facilities for our remote northern communities, our work elevates the health, safety, and sustainability of the region. The Winnipeg office serves as a central hub to a diverse team of design professionals working on projects across the public and private sectors, throughout the prairies and across Canada.

Responsibilities  

Producing and overseeing technical design and contract documents in compliance with Owner’s Statement of Requirements, in collaboration with project teams.  Working with senior team members to validate that designs and deliverables conform to technical guidelines, code requirements and regulations.  Provide technical design solutions for facility construction including interior and exterior assemblies.  Coordinating internal production teams. Coordinating with project sub-consultants.  Providing technical mentoring and leadership to less experienced technical staff.  Assisting with contract administration including site visits and working with construction contractors.

Qualifications  

Degree or diploma in architectural and building technology from an accredited technical college.  10+ years’ working as an Architectural Technologist for an Architectural consulting firm.  Demonstrated substantial product knowledge, and an ability to detail architectural building systems.  Construction site experience  Preference given to candidates with knowledge of:  BIM principles & workflows  REVIT software AutoCAD software Microsoft 365 environment  Bluebeam
