Job Description

Are you a skilled and motivated Pipefitter seeking an opportunity with a flexible schedule and a chance to showcase your expertise? Look no further We have positions available until the end of December 2024, with a casual shift rotation that allows you to contribute your skills as needed. 

As a Pipefitter, you'll be immersed in various tasks, from studying blueprints and layouts to assembling and installing pipes, valves, and fittings. If you hold a Journeyperson or Apprentice Pipefitter ticket/certification, possess CSTS-20, and are physically capable of handling the job's demands, we encourage you to apply. Based in Saskatoon, these roles are perfect for local candidates.

What would you be doing?

Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the type of pipe and instruments to use and lay out the sequence of tasks.  Draft detailed sketches for pipe and equipment fabrication and installation. Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, assemble, and install metal, plastic, and fibreglass pipes, valves, and fittings. Join pipe sections and related equipment and secure in position. Use testing equipment to check systems for leaks.  Maintain and repair piping systems. 

Does this sound like you?

Journeyperson or Apprentice Pipefitter ticket/certification. Valid CSTS-20 Experience with hydro testing an asset. Enjoy a varied workload. Must have your own reliable transportation. Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required. Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job, including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, shoveling, bending, twisting, etc.
