Location: Various locations across Alberta

Epidemiologists study patterns and causes of disease in populations to inform public health policies and interventions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and conduct epidemiological studies to investigate health-related issues.
  • Analyze data using statistical methods to identify trends and risk factors.
  • Collaborate with the public health officials to develop strategies for disease prevention.
  • Communicate findings to stakeholders through reports and presentations.
  • Stay updated on public health regulations and emerging health threats.

Requirements
  • Master’s degree in Public Health (MPH) or related field; Ph.D. preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with statistical software.
  • Knowledge of epidemiological methods and principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
