What you’ll do:
Reporting to the Bakery Manager, Cake Decorator’s responsibilities will include the following:
Produce cakes and decorated products utilizing various methods and tools according to Co-op programs and customer special orders. Ensure display cases are clean, organized and appealing. Ensure decorating supplies are organized in a suitable manner and assist the Bakery Manager with maintaining the inventory. Receive, inspect, and store orders upon delivery to ensure all product is immediately stored in proper temperature-controlled environment. Properly prepare, package and price baked goods when required. Display and rotate baked goods as per established guidelines. Process bakery orders from customers, prepare accurate invoices for those goods and provide customer service inline with the Co-op brand. Observe and maintain sanitation standards and practices, maintain tools and equipment, and keep work area clean and neat. Assist with other duties as assigned.Why it matters:
