Oil & Gas - Receptionist
Fort St John, BCOur client, a major oil and gas producer, is looking for a new receptionist for their Fort St John office. The receptionist will act as the first point of contact for the company, greeting all visitors in person or on the phone with a high level of professionalism.Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Answering and directing all phone calls in a polite and professional manner Ensuring cleanliness and organization of kitchens Welcoming all visitors into the office and ensuring sign-in and sign-out has been completed Organizing and managing activity and usage of meeting rooms Looking after issuing visitor access cards Managing reception email to ensure requests are handled in a quick and efficient manner Providing a high level of professional and extraordinary customer service to all visitors and employees, ensuring an excellent first impression Facilitating meeting room bookings Coordinating Office setups and takedowns Managing, creating, and improving efficiencies within the role Assisting with additional administrative duties as required
Required Education, Experience and Skills
Minimum of a High school diploma is required Post-secondary education in Business Administration or equivalent will be highly considered Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a reception role or similar capacity Must have excellent communication skills; written, verbal and listening Possess a ‘service first’ attitude and genuine satisfaction in providing exceptional service Exceptional organizational skills, with a high level of attention to detail Previous experience working in a fast paced work environment, with the ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities Ability to perform under a high degree of autonomy and independence Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs is required Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment Valid class 5 (or equivalent) driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
