Paladin Security is currently recruiting for various positions within the Halifax Stanfield International Airport. Screening Security Agent will work in a variety of dynamic settings, interacting with the contractors working at the airport. Screening Officer will abide by rules and regulations under the Transport of Canada. This position will require the successful candidate to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities:

Provide a high degree of customer service when interacting with airport staff and with the Client Perform a variety of policy related checks and audits in accordance with Client expectations and regulations Conducting security screenings of contractors and their belongings using metal detectors Respond to inquiries and answer questions from members of the airport in a tactful manner Requirements:

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Discretion when handling confidential and private information. Must be at least 19 years of age and have a high school diploma. Must have reliable transportation to the airport. Ability to pass a security clearance and hold a RAIC  Ability to stand, walk and sit for extended periods of time. Ability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays Must have valid First Aid & CPR certificate (Online First Aid/CPR certificate not accepted)

Education Requirements (Any)

High School Diploma/GED
First Aid/CPR
Valid G Driver License
