Schedule: Monday - Saturday 
Rate Compensation: $18.5- $19.5 per hour

As an Exercise Therapist , you will work as an important clinical team member at our Keswick, Sutton and Aurora clinics. You are responsible for assisting with client care as directed by a Physiotherapist and maintaining the treatment area and equipment. As a significant contributor, you will take pride in the thoroughness of your work and the strong relationships you develop with your clients and co-workers.

Qualifications:

PTA/OTA diploma or Kinesiology degree is preferred. Personal trainers may also apply. First Aid (CPR & AED) Certification. Must have a full driver's license, a reliable car and a willingness to travel between sites throughout the region. Previous experience working within a rehabilitation clinical setting as an Exercise Assistant/OTA/PTA supervising and teaching exercises for 1-3 years would be an asset. Professional, flexible and friendly demeanour with excellent relationship-building skills and work as a team. New Graduates are welcome to apply.

Key functions and responsibilities:

Assisting physiotherapists with client care, including Exercise Prescription and Progression, applying modalities including ultrasound, IFC, EMS, traction, athletic taping, and measuring custom braces. Treatment area cleanliness, including laundry and treatment area organization. Maintenance and cleaning/sterilization of medical equipment. Collecting outcome measure data. Inventory of clinical supplies. Other duties may be assigned, Training provided. Must be able to work at all 4 clinics and a variety of Morning, Afternoon and Evening shifts, and Saturdays.
