Business Analyst - Group Solutions

What you’ll be working on
Provide input to the business architecture, contribute to feasibility study, cost/benefit analysis, business case, and risk assessment
Provide input to planning decisions, monitor and report any changes in requirements, manage and report status of business analysis progress against project plan
Use relevant modeling techniques and templates to document business requirements
Participate in gap analysis, investigation and communication of capability gaps and evolving requirements
Contribute to the development of a Business Requirements Document
Provides business and system expertise along with research/analysis services that support the design, delivery and maintenance of quality applications and enhancements
Implements business requirements and process change initiatives to ensure that all specifications meet the objectives of the Company
Perform manual testing on occasion and as needed
What we’re looking for you to have
3+ years experience in insurance/financial services
Experience in Group Benefits is an asset
Post secondary education or equivalent work experience
Working towards CPAB or IIBA designation an asset
Courses in facilitation skills, modeling techniques and/or stakeholder management an asset
Ability to think logically, analyze and/or solve problems
Ability to work independently and/or as a team member
Well developed (team) facilitation skills
Ability to construct written reports on various issues
Ability to present information clearly to diverse audiences
Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks or projects
