Byjoining our team as a junior engineer, you’ll participate in engineeringmandates in automation, instrumentation and control. You’ll be asked tocontribute to various phases of engineering and site work. You may also beasked to help prepare proposals, select technologies and propose solutions toclients.

Overview of certificationsand job requirements

Bachelor’s degree in automated production engineering, electrical engineering or other relevant training; From none to five years of relevant experience; Member of a Canadian professional engineering association; Experience in instrumentation and control design; Experience in programming control systems (SCADA, PLC, DCS); Available to travel to and from our BBA offices in the Greater Montréal area; Available for short- and long-term work assignments at client locations or sites; Asset: bilingual (English and French), both spoken and written; Asset: interest or relevant experience in automation and instrumentation; participation in detailed engineering of a project in the mining or energy sectors; Asset: knowledge of ABB’s 800xA control platform.
