Job Title: MIG Welder/Fitter

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder/Fitter with proficiency in welding and assembling both aluminum and steel components. The ideal candidate will be adept at using various power tools and cutting equipment, and must possess the ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings to accurately build components. This position operates on a day shift schedule from Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of MIG Welding/Fitting experience
  • 2+ years of aluminum welding experience
  • Strong blueprint reading skills
  • Experience with aluminum welding using MIG
  • Proficiency with power tools, cutting torches, plasma cutting tools, band saws, and shear equipment
Soft Skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, crowded environment
  • Capability to work effectively as part of a team

Work Environment

The work environment features a clean shop that is very crowded and busy. Each welder will be assigned to a station with 1-2 other welders.
