Established in and located in the heart of downtown Toronto, The Rosedale Day School (RDS) is an independent, co-educational school serving students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8. The Rosedale Day School is currently seeking a full time Middle School Science Teacher to begin on August 26, . The Teacher reports to the Assistant Head of School and works collaboratively with teachers and parents to support students. This opportunity will provide experience in a collaborative teaching environment that consists of a strong and supportive staff and school culture, and a connected community. Occasional evenings, and overnight travel for school trips is required.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor of Education Degree and relevant Undergraduate Degree Eligible for an Ontario Teaching Certificate (Primary/Junior or Junior/Intermediate) Knowledge of Project Based Learning and The Design Thinking Approach to Problem Solving Working knowledge and classroom experience with Google Apps for Education, Hapara Workspace and assistive technology apps Previous Independent School experience is considered an asset
