Join Our Team We are looking for motivated individuals who are caring and compassionate with a strong desire to make a real difference in the lives of our residents. Applefest Lodge offers both independent and assisted living and is looking for new members to join our care team. Nestled in picturesque Northumberland County in the town of Brighton and ensconced adjacent to a beautiful apple orchard, with only 67 suites our, care team can focus on creating an intimate and comfortable setting, providing compassionate care with exceptional services, and delivering individual attention. We are currently looking to add Guest Attendants to our team
Responsibilities:
- Review daily schedule for resident showers and plan day to ensure all residents scheduled for shower-personal care receive assistance. Remove laundry from residents' room and bring it to the laundry room. If there is laundry to be returned to the resident, assist those who need help putting it away.
- Clean bathrooms in common areas, public bathroom, staff bathroom, and staff lunchroom bathroom.
- Sweep entrance, vestibule, and common areas, ensure door handles and high touch points are cleaned and sanitized.
- Porter residents to and from the dining room during meal service. Assist residents with toileting if indicated in the client care plan.
- Assist with serving meals and beverages in the dining hall at mealtimes. Ensure residents are satisfied with their meals and have everything they need to meet their nutrition requirements and their mealtimes enjoyable.
- Other duties as assigned may fall out of the normal scope of the job description based on the needs of the business.
