Fernie Alpine Resort is looking to fill the position of LiftOperator . Reporting to the Lift Operations Supervisor, the ideal candidatewill have strong customer service skills, a positive attitude, and enjoyworking in an outdoor mountain environment. You Will:

Ensure a safe, comfortable and friendlyatmosphere for both guests and staff Assist and upsell guests at every opportunity Ensure public and personal safety on lifts Offer the highest degree of guest service Responsible for loading and unloading mountain bikesand offer assistance to passengers Inspect and scan passenger lift tickets Assist in maintaining biking and hiking trails Have a high degree of lift knowledge to be ableto operate a designated lift with confidence Carry out MODULA (Maintain, Operate, Design,Unload, Load, Areas) Know and adhere to the policies, rules andprotocols outlined in the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Employee Handbook Know and follow all safe work proceduresincluded in the Safety Management Program Know and comply with all expectations of theInjury Management/Return-to-Work Programs Perform other tasks and duties that areapplicable
