Vancouver Coastal Health is looking for a Driver to join the Recreation Therapy team at Hilltop House in Squamish, BC. Apply today to join our team

As a Driver with VCH you will:

Provide transportation services to and from various locations for all clients of the Centre as scheduled, assists in embarking and disembarking passengers, porters clients to their scheduled appointments within various hospital sites as necessary, and transports a variety of supplies and/or materials to and from delivery locations for various departments.

ABOUT HILLTOP HOUSE:

Hilltop House is located in Squamish, BC, approximately one hour north of the Vancouver lower mainland and accessible on the scenic Sea to Sky highway. The area hosts an abundance of recreational activities such as mountain biking, hiking, rock climbing and kayaking, as well as a growing arts and culture scene. Hilltop House is a 61-bed long term care facility for seniors with complex needs. It provides home-like care for its permanent residents, as well as respite care, a community bathing program and adult day care for seniors.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

Grade 10 plus two years’ recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Valid Class 4 vehicle license (unrestricted) required.

Knowledge & Abilities

Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Ability to deal with others effectively. Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position. Ability to organize work. Ability to operate related equipment.
