You have a passion for working outdoors and the environment. You take pride in helping to maintain the Nakiska Ski Resort property, knowing that your efforts contribute to providing our guests that visit in the winter months with the best vacation and recreational experience possible.

You will:

Comply with all safety regulations of assigned tasks and ensure a clean and safe working environment with active participation in the health and safety program. Have the ability to lift and carry heavy items (lift up to 50pounds). Provide Maintenance on buildings, base area and trails. Operate slope maintenance or other equipment in a safe and responsible manner as needed. Are able to stand for long periods of time, performing physical job duties such as raking, trimming, shoveling, lifting and are able to work in all weather conditions. Wear the required safety equipment and clothing necessary for specific tasks or weather conditions

You:

Able to effectively verbally communicate and have strong attention to detail Follow all Nakiska's policies and procedures. Have a Valid class 5 driver’s license with a clean abstract Have basic knowledge of small engine operation - an asset. Are experienced with hand tool use and maintenance, as well as basic carpentry skills - an asset. Work great in a team and have the ability to provide assistance to co-workers when able to do so.

Position Details:

 Full time / seasonal – Monday to Thursday 7 am to 5:30 pm Shuttle Van from Canmore or Calgary
