A DAY IN THE LIFE 
In this temporary position you’ll use your skills and experience to perform scheduled service, fault analysis/troubleshooting, and potential main component or blade work on wind turbines. During a typical day, you will work at heights and in confined spaces, while being exposed to the elements of weather. There are - V- Mk 3B 3.6 MW turbines on site. The wind farm is coming up on their 4-year anniversary. 4 MW platform is the newer platform that is being built in several locations, so good exposure to today's current technology. At this site near Medicine Hat, AB you will typically have shifts 5 days a week at 8- hours a day. You also will have an on-call rotation schedule for off-work hours (weekends) and overtime as well. You will travel % to help other sites as needed. The team here normally works in teams of 2-3, will typically climb 1-2 turbines a day. This positon is temporary with the potential to develop into a permanent position.

✓ You will need a safety-focused mindset and your positive attitude will contribute to your ability to work in a team environment, while being motivated and taking initiative in daily tasks 

✓ You can identify solutions to issues with process of elimination
✓ You must have a high school diploma or equivalent and you will bring at least 1 year of wind experience or a wind certificate or transferrable agricultural, mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical work background
