Position Description:

As a QA Tech Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will lead a team of QA engineers and collaborate closely with development, product management, and other stakeholders to drive quality initiatives throughout the software development lifecycle.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

-Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, providing guidance, coaching, and technical expertise to ensure high performance and professional growth.

-Quality Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive quality strategy aligned with business objectives and product roadmap. Continuously improve QA processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

-Test Planning and Execution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on product requirements and user stories. Execute tests across different platforms and environments, including web, mobile, and desktop.

-Automation: Drive automation efforts by identifying opportunities for test automation, designing automated test suites, and implementing robust automation frameworks using industry-standard tools and technologies.

-Continuous Integration and Delivery: Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and deployment. Monitor test results and provide feedback to developers to facilitate rapid bug fixes and iteration.

-Defect Management: Track and prioritize defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution. Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to reduce future defects.

-Performance and Scalability Testing: Collaborate with performance engineers to design and execute performance and scalability tests, identifying bottlenecks and optimizing system performance.

-Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, test results, and QA processes. Generate regular reports on test coverage, test execution status, and quality metrics to stakeholders.

-Risk Management: Identify potential risks to product quality and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

-Continuous Learning: Stay updated on emerging QA trends, tools, and technologies. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the QA team.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

-Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
-Proven experience (8 years) in QA/testing roles
-Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
-Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress).
-Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
-Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
-Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
-Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:
-Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE).
-Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
-Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
-Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).

Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position due to the nature of the role requiring interactions with local and global clients.
