Pinchin is hiring a Environmental Scientist in the Timmins location. As a successful candidate you can be in located in Sudbury or Sault Ste. Marie as long as you are able to make regular visits to Timmins. 

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Project Manager will oversee projects for a variety of clients and will work towards becoming the principal contact for a specific list of clients. 

What you will be doing at Pinchin

Perform Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments and Environmental RemediationsPrepare reports with recommendations Manage projects and ensure that they are completed on time and on budgetCommunicate with Clients and understand their project requirementsPrepare proposalsParticipate in initiatives with the Marketing department and develop business development skills to build new client relationships and maintain existing onesBuild leadership and mentorship skills by working with and mentoring junior staff

What you bring to the Pinchin team 

A Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Applied Science is not required, but is considered an assetA P.Eng. or P.Geo. designation is not required, but is considered an assetExperience with conducting and managing Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments for transactional due diligence purposesExperience with conducting Phase One and Two Environmental Site Assessments in support of filing Records of Site Condition in accordance with O. Reg. 153/04Experience with other environmental disciplines, such as IEQ and mould, and working with designated substances such as asbestos, lead, etc. would be considered an assetExperience with invoicing, budgeting, and other areas of project related financial managementExperience with business development initiatives and client interactionValid driver’s license and insurance are required (work related travel expenses will be compensated)Strong communication skills & professional presentationStrong writing skillsHigh level of attention to detail
