ATCO Frontec Ltd. is seeking a Journeyperson Electrician to join our team at the Victoria Gold Eagle Mine. The Journeyperson Electrician is responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance, inspections, modifications, installation/dismantling of electrical systems.
Our positions work on a day on, days off rotation. Accommodations and meals during your work rotations are provided by the company.
Responsibilities:
Complete timely inspections, testing and accurate reporting of equipment defects / deficiencies Conduct timely maintenance services and quality repair of equipment Provide input to the Maintenance Coordinator for the planned and scheduled work and assist with the completion of the committed schedule Assist with the scoping, estimating, planning and execution of new work or projects Ensure all installations, repairs and maintenance meets the requirements of the appropriate codes Other duties as assignedQualifications:
Journeyperson Certified Electrician (Red Seal) with a minimum of years’ experience. Experience with SAP & Service Max Current certificates in Fall Arrest, Confined Space, and Elevated Work Platform Class license and clean drivers abstract is required Strong verbal and written communication skills Able to read drawings and schematics Ability to build and work in a team environment is crucial along with a strong commitment to personal and team safetyWe would like to thank everyone for their application; however, only those being considered for an interview will be contacted.
