Purpose of the Role:

As the IT Operations Co-op, you will apply IT support and service desk skills, investigate technical issues, and perform root cause analysis to implement corrective actions. You will enhance your knowledge in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and network administration while creating and maintaining detailed documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

You are a current university student studying IT Operations or related field.  You have solid Knowledge of Windows operating systems, Office and SharePoint, Azure services, networking (VLAN, routing and switching), and other technical systems. You comfortable working independently and collaboratively. You have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis.

Bonus Skills and Qualifications:

You have experience in technical support or related fields.

What Success looks like in this role:

You will learn and apply IT support and service desk skills based on ITIL best practices. You will investigate technical issues, perform root cause analysis, develop a corrective and preventative actions to address, and apply necessary fixes to end users, infrastructure, and procedures. You will improve your knowledge and apply your experience for IT infrastructure, Cyber Security server administration, network administration, backup systems and disaster recovery solutions You will create and maintain procedure, troubleshooting, and how-to guides documentation.
