Ready Mix Driver

Overview

Lafarge, one of Canada’s leading suppliers of ready mix concrete has a requirement for Ready-Mix truck drivers for the Marathon area for the upcoming construction season. These positions will be defined as part-time seasonal and could possibly become full-time if work load warrants it; some locations operate all year round.

Responsibilities

Delivering concrete to customers in a safe and timely manner. Follows and ensures full compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures. Up keep of truck appearance, assist with light maintenance around the Concrete plant Paperwork – circle checks, delivery ticket information.

Qualifications

Educational Background: Grade 12 diploma Experience: A clean driving record. 3- 5 years of experience in the trucking industry preferred Training will be provided for operating the Ready Mix truck. Physical Attributes: Lifting, carrying, climbing, bending, reaching, push/pull, gripping, squatting, etc.
