Lafarge Construction provides Construction services in the City of Edmonton and surrounding areas. Lafarge Construction is based in Edmonton, AB and is currently seeking a seasonal, full-time Water Truck Driver.

Position Description

The Water Truck Driver will be operating a tandem dump truck within the city of Edmonton. The accountabilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the following: Pre and post trip inspections. Minor truck maintenance. Haul various materials to and from site. Operate vehicle in a safe manner adhering to Safety policies and procedures Other labour duties as required.


Qualifications:

The successful applicant will possess the following: Minimum valid Class 3 Drivers License and Q Endorsement Knowledge of the City of Edmonton an asset. Knowledge of Construction an asset.


In addition to the above, the successful candidate will be expected to exercise sound judgment, work safely and communicate effectively in a team. This position is physically demanding and requires crouching, bending, lifting, and kneeling. As such, clearance on a pre-employment medical is required. The successful candidate will have a proven record of following safe work procedures and be able to complete field risk assessments.
