Job Description
The SE network 4 - Yorkton is seeking a team orientated and professional locum General Surgeon to join our health care team.
Position will include regular OR slates as well as emergency on-call. Week long locums preferred but will consider alternate durations.
The Yorkton Regional Health Centre is an 86 in-patient bed facility equipped with 4 OR suites. In-patient units include: Medicine, Pediatrics, Surgery, Intensive Care Unit, and Obstetrics with a well-baby nursery. Outpatient services include: Emergency Department, Hemodialysis, Chemotherapy.
Position will remain open until filled and may be filled prior to closing date.
Job Qualifications
•Certified with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) in General Surgery
•Regular or Provisional License with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS)
•Valid driver’s license
•Successful SHA credentialing including but not limited to acceptable reference checks and criminal record check with vulnerable sector
•Current Canadian Medical Protective Association coverage
•Legal entitlement to work in Canada
