The following are the types of appointments for which candidates may apply (if available):
 

a.a full workload sessional appointment (FWS), normally for thirty (30) to thirty-two (32) total semester hours over two (2) successive semesters;

b.a full workload half sessional appointment (FWHS), normally for fifteen (15) to sixteen (16) semester hours in any one (1) semester;
 

c.a reduced-workload sessional appointment (RWS), for at least nine (9) but less than fifteen (15) semester hours in each of two (2) successive semesters;
 

d.a reduced workload half sessional appointment (RWHS), for at least nine (9) but less than fifteen (15) semester hours in any one (1) semester;
 

e.a part-time hourly appointment (PT), for less than nine (9) semester hours in each of two (2) successive semesters;

f.a part-time hourly appointment (PT)/one (1) semester, for less than nine (9) semester hours in any one (1) semester;

Course delivery in Fall 2024 and Winter 2025 will be in-person or hybrid at the sole discretion of the hiring unit and all candidates hired for in-person courses will be required to carry out their

teaching on campus. 

Qualifications

Education 
PhD. or equivalent in field related to target course
PhD (or equivalent) 
MBA or equivalent
Terminal degree (PhD) in other discipline
Master degree.

Teaching Experience
Teaching target or similar course at TMU graduate program.
Teaching target or similar course at other university graduate program.
Teaching target or similar course at TMU undergraduate program or another university undergraduate program.
Teaching target course at College.

Practice field experience
Current (past 3 years) practice in related field 6-10 (depends on quality of experience, including relevance to course, level of responsibility, relevant professional accreditation, etc.)
Past (more than 3) years ago) practice in related field.

Currency
Academic publications (refereed) in past 5 years.
Academic publications more than 5 years ago or current (less than 5 years) professional profile (including professional or academic presentations).
Other demonstrated professional currency (practitioner writing, courses taken).

Interactive Skills
The following will be rated based on previous teaching ratings/evaluations:
