Scotts Canada Ltd. in Eel River (Baie Ste. Anne), NB , is seeking an internal applicant fill the Quality Clerk position.

Applicants MUST:

Have reliable transportation & display acceptable attendance

Work independently and as part of a team and be capable of working overtime on short notice

Be capable of working in a dusty environment

Must meet minimum requirements of the position within the probationary period

No have physical restrictions limiting one’s ability to properly wear Personal Protective Equipment, climbing into and down from mobile equipment multiple times per day or from lifting up to 50 pounds

Provide a CPIC (Criminal Record) Check. 

Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

Collecting sample of harvested peat and analyzing physical characteristics using a variety of equipment

Recording results in a spreadsheet

Measuring internal temperatures of bulk piles 

Other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Applicants MAY have to provide a driver’s abstract (driving record)

Experience with the operation of laboratory equipment would be an asset (temperature, mass, humidity, etc.)

Bilingualism is an asset, but not a requirement.
