Journeyman Millwright

Role Summary

Thisrole exhibits knowledge and experience of trade skills and is able to work indiverse situations such as facilities, seasonal lift shutdowns and the implementationof special capital projects. TheMillwright has a working knowledge of lift maintenance and ski hilloperations. This role must be able towork in a fast-paced, changing environment keeping safety of the crew andresort guests a foremost priority. Thisis a full-time, year-round role.

Key Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and diagnosemechanical or hydraulic problems with associated equipment. Identify and correct andproblems found in machines, equipment or processes to facilitate production Adhere to assembly andmaintenance instructions set forth in vendor manuals and specifications Actively involved inpreventative and required maintenance of all lifts and lift maintenanceequipment Maintain records of work andreport on all lift maintenance related activities Assist with training LiftOperators to safely operate the lifts and perform routine checks Operate company equipmentsafely and effectively in accordance with company policies Assist other departments withgeneral maintenance needs when required Ensure ongoing compliance withlocal and national standards and legislation including the Z-98 code andManufacturer’s specifications Keep work area safe and cleanand report any damage, malfunction, misuse or abuse of any equipment orproperty Ensure safety of guests andemployees through proper training and adherence to company policies andprocedures Assistance with vehiclemaintenance as required Compliance with all safetyregulations of assigned tasks, and ensure a clean and safe working environmentwith active participation in the health and safety program Adhere to all environmentalpolicies and programs as required Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Certified JourneymanMillwright, with an inter provincial ticket Previous experience of 2-4years would be an asset Must hold a current, validdrivers license Proficient ski or snowboardcapabilities Proficient with MS Office andother basic computer systems and applications Candidate owns all the requiredtools to perform job adequately Must be physically capable ofoperating and maintaining equipment First aid experience an asset

Conditions:

work 10 hour days, set days ofthe week working holidays, weekends andevenings can be expected full time scheduled to work aminimum of 40 hours per 2 week pay period during busy times
