Position Summary

ANTH 100 – Introduction to Anthropology

An introduction to the anthropological concept of culture, its uses in the explanation of human behaviour, and its impact on our understanding of human nature, language, and society. The course will explore cultural diversity through the comparative perspective that makes anthropology unique within the humanities and social sciences. It will also show how anthropologists analyse the connections between politics, economics, gender, kinship, and religion within particular cultures. Position Requirements MA in Anthropology or a closely related field.

This course will be offered specifically to students in the nitôncipâmin omâ Student Success Program and the successful candidate must have experience with this program.
