Description:

- Reading blueprints, fitting job appropriately

- Tacking weld jobs for welders to complete

- laying out pieces of metal and appropriately sequencing welding jobs

- use calculations and shop formulas to plan out jobs

- assembling and fitting metal plates together before assembly is complete

- fastening components together using tack welding, bolting and riveting

handling companies in the world.

Skills:

welder, tack, blueprints, job shop, custom, MCAW, FCAW, flux core, metal core, fitting, stick welding, mig welding, Tig, Structure, crane operation

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

MUST HAVE 1. Blueprint reading

- must have an understanding of what will be seen on blueprints, and how to weld based on the specifications in drawings

MUST HAVE 2. Custom/job shop experience

- cannot come from a production environment where they are making the same pieces each time. Must have multiple project experience

MUST HAVE 3. MCAW/FCAW experience

-welder must have at a minimum, flat flux core experience on large projects. Need at least 2 years of structural flux core experience.

Nice to have:

- all position experience

- overhead crane experience\

Shift & Pay:

  • Days 7-330 or Afternoons 3-11:30pm
  • 28.24/hr
