We are seeking a diligent and enthusiastic commercial laundry attendant to join our team. In this role you ensure our hotel linens are clean and ready for guests across our 15 hotels. Nestled in the heart of the Canadian Rockies, Banff is a spectacular destination attracting visitors worldwide. With its world-class ski resorts, crystal-clear lakes, and miles of hiking trails, Banff is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers.

Skills and experience:

Willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. Capable to work in a fast-paced environment. A positive team player attitude with the ability to work independently and a strong willingness to learn. Able to lift, push and pull at least 35 KG. Able to understand both oral and written instructions in English. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and technologies.

What you will be doing

Receive, sort, and tag incoming laundry items. Operate commercial-grade washing and drying machines according to established procedures and manufacturer guidelines. Load and unload laundry from machines as required. Inspect laundered items for stains, tears, or other damages, and address any issues accordingly. Fold, stack, and package clean laundry items neatly and accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, including cleaning machines and work surfaces. Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and inform the supervisor when supplies need to be replenished. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when handling and storing laundry chemicals and equipment. Assist in loading and unloading laundry trucks for delivery and pickup as needed. Follow company policies and procedures regarding quality control and customer service. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks. Assist with other duties as assigned
