You as an Electrician you will be:
Reporting to the Manager of Engineering & Building Services and in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Acts and Regulations and the Ontario Electrical Safety Code, the principal duties of an Electrician are to
Trouble shoot, repair, replace and install any component of the hospital’s low voltage (up to 600 volt) electrical systems including but not limited to wiring, cabling, conduit, transformers, circuit breakers, electrical disconnects, Installs electrical circuits and all types of electrical equipment and appliances including grounding leads, lighting fixtures, life safety systems, and other circuits as needed light fixtures, VFDs, motors, sensors, control panels, different elements of the emergency power system, components of the Fire alarm systems, Access control system, CCTV, etc. throughout the hospital, outdoor and indoor including patient rooms and treatment areas. Perform an effective preventive maintenance and maintain all aforementioned equipment in good working and esthetic condition.Is this the right role for you?
