Compensation
Effective September 1, 2024 - $7, per half course (195 hours nominally)
Effective September 1, 2024 - $14, per full course (390 hours nominally)
Please note: Instructors who are employed in a 2-hour/week lecture, or the equivalent of a 2-hour/week lecture, are responsible for the first hour of seminar/lab in each course.
Duties
Duties and responsibilities will be in accordance with Article of the Collective Agreement. These include scheduled contact time with students and non-classroom time (preparation of lectures, student consultation, marking and grading and course administration, including grade appeals and cases of academic dishonesty).
Qualifications
The qualifications for this position have changed since it was last posted.
Must have an MA or PhD in Psychology. The instructor must be available through regular office hours and appointments for supervision and contact with student. Demonstrated experience teaching a career preparation course delivered in an academic setting, teaching hybrid courses (part online; part face-to-face), ability to use interview practice software, managing experiential community-based learning, and familiarity with online resources for occupational research and Canadian job search websites would all be considered assets.
