Responsibilities :

The successful applicant will:

Provide leadership to a process support team, on Process Engineering, Process Control, Production Planning and Laboratory Services. Support the start-up of the plant, working with the plant Operations group in optimizing the commissioning and start-up schedule. Manage Production Planning and Forecasting and provide support to the Marketing function. Manage the plant feed gas demand and interface with the pipeline operator, Fortis BC. Prepare for, manage and report on process unit and equipment performance test runs. Monitor and report on the performance of the plant process units and utility systems on a daily, weekly and monthly basis, with the objective to continuously improve process safety, reliability and efficiency. Support maximization of plant capacity through process simulation, calculations and reporting. Lead and implement all process safety requirements. Manage a system for plant trip investigation/reporting and reliability improvement. Continuously improve plant performance through initiation and follow through on Management of Change. Lead the HAZOP and other process safety reviews where required. Provide day to day support for operations on production issues. Analyze and report on plant and equipment performance and for cost & efficiency improvement. Manage the plant laboratory and external laboratory service contractor, providing quality assurance for the LNG product. Provide adequate performance measurement and feedback for process support team members.
