You will use your conceptual and practical experience to interpret clients' needs, assess their requirements, investigate, diagnose, and resolve environment problems, including non-standard which are essential to business functions.In addition to a competitive rate of pay, AHS currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.

Description:

As an IT Analyst I, you will provide technical support for system(s), subsystem(s) or technologies within a specialized team or service area in accordance with AHS standards and practices.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of diploma in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

One or more years' experience with Cisco network technologies, ability to participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation, valid Alberta driver's license (non-GDL), ability to travel within Alberta, ability to sit working at a computer for extended periods, ability to stand, lift, climb ladders, bend, crawl in confined spaces, work in a variety of indoor/outdoor environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

Cisco CCNA Certification desired, other Cisco certifications are an asset, experience in healthcare and understanding patient care needs.
