ABOUTTHEROLE:

Asthe successful candidate you would be joining a dynamic team whereyou can expand your expertise in a stateoftheart compounding lab.The pharmacy integrates nutraceuticals pharmaceuticals andcompounding practices giving you the opportunity to providepersonalized care to their diverse patient base.Youwill support the pharmacists by preparing and dispensingmedications which involves counting pills measuring liquids andlabeling prescriptions accurately. You will handle inventorymanagement by monitoring stock levels ordering supplies andorganizing medication storage. Additionally you will interact withpatients providing information about medication usage answeringquestions and addressing any concerns. By maintaining a clean andorganized work environment you will help ensure that the pharmacyruns smoothly and that patients receive the correct medications andinformation.

Requirements
  • Graduationfrom an accredited Pharmacy Technician program or an equivalentcombination of education training andexperience;
  • Currentregistration and in good standing with the College of Pharmacistsof British Columbia(RPhT);
  • Experiencein bracing cryotherapy compounding and compression fittingconsidered anasset;
  • Dueto the pace and complexity of our patients and environment previousexperience working in a fasted paced pharmacy is considered anasset;
  • Proficiencyin Kroll isrequired;
  • Ableto make decisions and take initiativeproactively;
  • Eagerto work collaboratively within a team as well asindependently;
  • Stronginterpersonal and relationshipskills;
  • Apositive attitude and a passion for patient care isessential;
  • Strongattention to detail and accuracy in handling medications andprescriptionorders;
  • Additionaltraining or certifications such as your injection certification isconsidered anasset.
