South Country Co-op is hiring a Pharmacy Manager on a permanent basis, located at our Northlands Pharmacy location in Medicine Hat, AB.

What you’ll do:
As the Pharmacy Manager you will manage and oversee the operation and financial performance of the pharmacy’s fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will also provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the pharmacy team.
Oversee and monitor the budget, staffing, and inventory within the pharmacy and identify areas for performance improvement. Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures that comply with legislation, bylaws, and regulations, as well as accrediting body standards. Provide full-scope clinical services such as medication management, review, and injection services. Advise customers on the selection and usage of non-prescription medication. Provide advice and counselling to patients on possible side effects of their medications and answer any questions they may have. Maintain medication profiles of patients and communicate with healthcare providers regarding patient care. Provide exceptional customer service with a positive attitude.Who you’ll work with:

Who you are:
Have a Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree or a Doctorate in Pharmacy and are in good standing with Alberta College of Pharmacy. Have a minimum of 3 years of pharmacy experience in a retail environment, with experience leading technical, professional, and/or management employees. Experience with Kroll would be considered an asset. Are licensed or able to become licensed to practice in the Province of Alberta with Injection Certification. Are APA Certified or working towards certification. You are honest, trustworthy, results oriented, and strive to be the best in what you do.
