Site Nurse

As a Site Nurse working within Pomerleau's Health and Safety Division, you will act as a first responder on a construction site. You will be responsible for the infirmary and administer first aid in the event of an accident until emergency services arrive. Working on large-scale construction projects - ranging from $ million to over $1 billion - you'll provide important support in OHS-related administrative tasks.
What You Will Do
Assess the condition of injuries to determine the need for further medical intervention, ensuring appropriate care for all employees.
Assess the feasibility of light duties based on the severity of injuries, facilitating a smooth transition back to work.
Manage the paperwork associated with incidents, ensuring accurate documentation for effective event management.
Keep infirmary inventory constantly replenished, always ensuring adequate medical resources.
Coordinate emergency transport, providing crucial support to casualties on their journey to hospital, ensuring their comfort and safety.
Provide essential administrative support to projects, notably by helping to manage OHS files on site.
Actively contribute to the site OHS committee by taking accurate notes and supporting risk prevention initiatives.
This role could be for you if you have
At least 1 year's experience in emergency care.
Member of the Quebec Order of Nurses.
Knowledge of both spoken and written French.
Knowledge of English (asset).
Good proficiency in the Office Suite.
Must own a vehicle.
It is important to note that this position is based inTrois-Rivières.
