The successful candidate will be dedicated to outstanding customer service, have excellent communication skills, have the ability to work independently and become a member of a highly motivated team. Core duties will include, but are not limited to:
Providing excellent customer service on the radio to team members and to our customers in the yard, assisting them with the location of items and providing information and product knowledge. Delivering, loading and unloading merchandise, as well as assembling and delivering orders as required. Filling orders and receiving freight as required. Assisting in the proper care and maintenance of all department equipment, and maintain cleanliness and order of merchandise in the yard. Practicing and maintaining safe procedures for the handling and stocking of merchandise.Why it matters:

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Retail Operations and:
You have excellent customer service skills, communication skills and the ability to problem solve. You have the ability to operate heavy duty equipment while ensuring safety rules and regulations are followed. You have experience and knowledge in the building materials industry. Have the ability to work in a changing environment. You have a valid class 5 driver’s license (preferred) and you must be willing to obtain forklift certification. You can fulfill physical job requirements – manual labour and occasional heavy lifting is required. You are well organized and capable of attaining a high level of production with a minimum amount of supervision. You are able to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings and weekends. You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
