Autodesk Fusion is the first 3D CAD, CAM, CAE, and PCB tool of its kind, unifying design, engineering, electronics, and manufacturing to connect your entire product development process into one cloud-based platform.

We are growing our Fusion Manufacturing Data Model (MFGDM) team in Canada and looking for an Software Development Manager to join our team who will manage scrum teams that include Developers and Test Developers who are responsible for feature development as well as supporting our end users and 2nd parties that build capabilities on MFGDM. MFGDM is the foundation of Manufacturing Cloud and core Data Framework for Autodesk Cloud Flagship Product – Autodesk Fusion. Our objective is to build Manufacturing Data Model and cloud services to shift from traditional monolithic file to granular data and then to enable concurrency, integration, automation and collaboration throughout the entire product lifecycle with granular data, making it possible to empower customers to design and make better products faster.

Responsibilities

Recruit, coach and develop an effective team to deliver data services solution and/or features to internal consumers and external customers

Accountable for business outcomes for the teams. Plan and manage successful completion of projects identified to fulfill business objectives

Lead team to support customers and solve customer incidents and issues. Help team to understand the importance of customer-centricity and build customer empathy

Strongly drive team to build Customer Trust in the service solutions delivered, including best in class resiliency, performance, scalability, and reliability. Advocate and build engineering excellence and service excellence in our development

Enhance engineering efficiency by observing the team, identifying opportunities, and influencing the improvement

Present to various stakeholders about team achievements and escalation of issues

Educate team members on how their work aligns with organizational goals

Help team to identify, solve and/or escalate dependencies and roadblocks

Collaborate with upstream and downstream teams to accomplish cross-organizational project goals and promote collaboration as breaking silos and prioritizing business success over individual team success

Find the right approach while facing uncertainties and support teams in navigating changes

Foster open communication between scrum teams, working groups and business groups

Manage team's performance to ensure successful project completion. Inspire and motivate team members to achieve maximum productivity and optimal creativity. Support each team member in their pursuit of career development paths and opportunities

Minimum Qualifications

BS/MS in engineering, computer science, or equivalent industry experience

8+ years working experience in software industry with 3+ years in leading development teams or other similar leadership roles (managing team members from Junior engineers to Principal engineers, from Developers to QAs)

Must have fundamentals in technology with Client (Desktop, Web) and Server-side development, JavaScript (Node.js) and AWS services

Solid understanding of software development lifecycle, principles, practices, and methodologies

Proven experience working on a scrum team developing cloud services; understand services architecture, development, and testing; understand Agile and Scaled Agile

Strong conflict resolution skills

An excellent communicator, both in written and verbal form, with the ability to present to large audiences and lead group activities

Capable of prioritizing and managing time and priorities simultaneously

Willingness to collaborate with colleagues across different time zones which may require limited work outside normal working hours

Nous étendons notre équipe des modèles de données de fabrication (MFGDM) de Fusion au Canada et nous recherchons un directeur ou une directrice du développement de logiciels pour se joindre à notre équipe. Il ou elle gérera les équipes scrum, qui incluent les développeur(se)s et les développeur(se)s de test responsables du développement des fonctionnalités, ainsi que le soutien aux utilisateurs finaux et aux utilisateurs internes qui développent des capacités des MFGDM. L’équipe MFGDM est le fondement de la plateforme de fabrication infonuagique et le cœur du cadre de données du produit phare d'Autodesk Cloud – Autodesk Fusion. Notre objectif est de créer des modèles de données de fabrication et des services infonuagiques pour passer des fichiers traditionnels aux données granulaires et permettre l'accès simultané, l'intégration, l'automatisation et la collaboration tout au long du cycle de vie du produit avec des données granulaires, ce qui permet aux clients de concevoir et de fabriquer de meilleurs produits plus rapidement.

Responsabilités

Recruter, former et développer une équipe efficace pour fournir des solutions et/ou des fonctionnalités de services de données aux consommateurs internes et aux clients externes

Être responsable des résultats commerciaux des équipes. Planifier et gérer l'achèvement des projets identifiés afin d'atteindre les objectifs de l'entreprise.

Diriger l'équipe pour assister les clients et résoudre les incidents et les problèmes rencontrés par ces derniers. Aider l’équipe à comprendre l’importance de l’approche client et à développer l’empathie client

Diriger l'équipe de manière à renforcer la confiance des clients dans les solutions de service offertes, notamment en ce qui concerne la résilience, les performances, l'évolutivité et la fiabilité, qui sont les meilleures de leur catégorie. Défendre et développer l'excellence en matière d'ingénierie et de service dans le cadre de notre développement

Améliorer l'efficacité de l'ingénierie en observant l'équipe, en identifiant les opportunités et en influençant l'amélioration.

Présenter aux différentes parties prenantes les réalisations de l'équipe et la remontée des problèmes

Expliquer aux membres de l'équipe comment leur travail s'aligne sur les objectifs de l'entreprise

Aider l'équipe à identifier, résoudre et/ou faire remonter les dépendances et les blocages.

Collaborer avec les équipes en amont et en aval pour atteindre les objectifs des projets transorganisationnels et promouvoir la collaboration en brisant les silos et en donnant la priorité à la réussite de l'entreprise plutôt qu'à celle de l'équipe individuelle.

Trouver la bonne approche face aux incertitudes et aider les équipes à naviguer dans les changements

Favoriser une communication ouverte entre les équipes scrum, les groupes de travail et les groupes d'affaires

Gérer les performances de l'équipe afin d'assurer la réussite du projet. Inspirer et motiver les membres de l'équipe pour atteindre une productivité maximale et une créativité optimale. Aider chaque membre de l'équipe dans sa recherche de parcours et d'opportunités de développement de carrière.

Exigences minimales

Baccalauréat en génie, informatique ou expérience équivalente dans le secteur

Au moins 8 ans d'expérience professionnelle dans l'industrie du logiciel, dont au moins 3 ans à la tête d'équipes de développement ou dans des fonctions de direction similaires (gestion des membres de l'équipe, de l'ingénieur junior à l'ingénieur principal, du développeur à l'expert qualité).

Connaissances de base en technologie en ce qui concerne le développement côté client (bureau, Web) et côté serveur, JavaScript (Node.js) et les services AWS

Compréhension approfondie du cycle de vie, des principes, des pratiques et des méthodologies du développement logiciel

Expérience attestée au sein d'une équipe scrum de développement de services infonuagiques; compréhension de l'architecture des services, du développement et des tests; compréhension de la méthode Agile et Scaled Agile.

Compétences solides en résolution de conflits

Excellent(e) communicateur(trice), tant sur le plan écrit que sur le plan verbal, et capacité à présenter à un large public et à diriger les activités du groupe

Capable de hiérarchiser et de gérer le temps et les priorités simultanément

Volonté de collaborer avec des collègues situés dans différents fuseaux horaires et qui peuvent nécessiter un travail limité en dehors des heures de travail normales
