Overview

Fountain Tire (Spirit River), an established automotive repair shop, is looking for responsible, safe, and dedicated associate to join our team as Automotive Tire Technician

Pay: $20-$25/hour (wage depending on experience)

Primary Responsibilities:

Install, balance, and rotate passenger, light truck, medium truck tires and wheels Complete and maintain a variety of safety courses including Whimis, TIA, Rim Safety course, and Customer Experience Standards Reset and Repair tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS) The responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safe Maintain tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis Complete specialty tire work, which could include studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc. Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts Pride in the work you've done keeping your customers safe and on the road, site or field

Working conditions:

A team environment where hard work, concise communication and clear heads are rewarded Consistent lifting of weights of approximately 60+ lbs is required This work can unpredictable, physical, wet, cold, windy etc and we need someone who will be up for the challenge This role requires nearly constant standing, crouching or kneeling

Qualifications:

Previous experience working with automotive, commercial, and farm tires is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals with a good attitude A valid driver's license is a must. We also need to see that you are responsible on the road by providing a satisfactory driver's abstract Excellent customer service and a great attitude are a must A team player who takes pride in their work
