Responsibilities

Performs general housekeeping and kitchen duties

 Duties:

Performs housekeeping duties such as sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming, dusting, and laundry. Performs kitchen cleaning duties including washing dishes, machinery, ovens, fridges, garbage, etc. Prepares dining room for meal service. Serves meals, buses and sanitizes tables. Observes clients and their environments, and reports unsafe conditions and behavioral, physical, and/or cognitive changes to supervisor. Completes and maintains related records and documentation such as communication books and progress reports. Performs other related duties as assigned.

 Qualifications:

Grade 12 Recent, related experience of three months or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience or other Qualifications determined to be reasonable and relevant to the level of work Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position Ability to work independently and in cooperation with others Ability to operate related equipment Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing Ability to organize and prioritize Ability to observe and recognize changes in clients Ability to organize and prioritize Ability to observe and recognize changes in clients
